I painted this during one of the hardest winters of my life.
I called it “Sweet Dreams” — a quiet moment of hope when everything else felt frozen.
It was created for a show titled “Cold Snap,” centered on quiet resilience in the face of adversity.
The sleeping owl became a stand-in for the dreamer — holding on, even in the dark.
